Remote recording of calls is very useful if you wish to capture calls for employees that work from home or other location.
To perform a remote recorded call the remote employee will first need to call the dealership, state a passcode and then dial the number that they wish to record. Below is a diagram of the process:
The remote recording channel will require a DDI (Direct Dialing Inward) line. Once setup for remote recording the DDI will not be able to be used for anything other than remote recording.
The remote recording details will need to be setup within the admin section of the Voicesafe to enable remote recording.
Remote Record DDI : Please enter the remote recording DDI you wish to use. The number will need to be stated as displayed to the Voicesafe. For example if the number is 01432789456 but appears as 789456 to the Voicesafe then 789456 will need to be stated.
PIN : This will be used to verify the employees identity, and will need to be stated when a recorded remote call is made.
Valid CLID : This will be used to verify the employees identity, only calls with this CLID will be able to remote record.
Once you have completed the form click 'Save'.
To test the remote recording call the DDI follow the verbal instructions, state the passcode, the number you wish to call and carry out a call. Once the call is completed you should be able to view the recording form the Vociesafe search page.
