The permissions in Closeit are extensive and may not be obvious what each permission does This page will explain these permissions which are managed on the group management page.
Please follow the below guide, where we will cover the Customer section of Permissions.
Click on Main> Admin Control Panel
Group Management
Click on Edit Permissions on the relevant Permission Group.
Click on Customer to expand the section
As you can see in the above screenshot, the permissions have appeared under Customer. Even though some permissions are self explanatory, below are explanations on what each permission is used for.
Allow Blank Demo - Allows users to create a demo without the car details(Make, Model, Reg)
Can Become Parent Sales Person on Reactivation - Allows users to become parent salesman on reactivating a customer
Can Bulk Transfer Customers - Allow users to bulk transfer customers via the search page - results.
Can Create Customers for Other Users - Allow users to create customers for other users via the Enquiry form > Misc tab.
Can Duplicate Customer Deals - Allows users to duplicate deals under customer records(Primarily used for fleet customers buying multiple cars with the same spec).
Can Edit Budget - Allows users to edit customer budget on the enquiry form
Can Edit Decision Makers - Allows users to change Other Drivers field on the Enquiry Form
Can Edit Followup - Allows users to edit a customer followup.
Can Edit FSA Question - Allows users to edit the FSA question on the Enquiry Form/Contact Details tab on the Customer Overview page.
Can Edit Ideal Time To Change - Allows users to edit ideal time to change on the Enquiry Form
Can Edit Mileage - Allows users to edit the mileage on the Part Ex tab on the Enquiry Form.
Can Edit Monthly Budget - Allows users to edit the monthly budget on the Enquiry Form
Can Edit Wishlist - Allows users to edit the wish list on the Enquiry Form
Can Mark Customers As Lost Opportunities - Allows users to Mark customers as Lost Opprotunities
Can ONLY Create Telephone Enquiries - Gives users permission to create only Telephone Enquiries
Can Transfer Customers - Allows user to transfer customers via the contact details tab in customer overview
Can Update Status - Allow users to change status of customer i.e. status as Sold, Lost, Active
Create New Customers - Allows users to create new customers
Email Field On New Customer Form - Permission to show the email field on the New Customer Form
Simply click in the Enable/Disable radio box to enable or disable accordingly. Once complete, click update and the permission/s will go live within an hour.
